Limits on the number of people you can see socially have changed. From Monday 14 September, when meeting friends and family you do not live with (or have formed a support bubble with) you must not meet in a group of more than 6, indoors or outdoors. Those found to be breaking the law may be fined £100, with higher penalties for repeat breaches*.

Many locations such as work places, registered childcare, education or training environments are exempt from this rule, however leisure and hospitality are two areas that will need to ensure that visitors are aware of the new rules. For example, restaurants, pubs and cafes will need to restrict individual bookings to no more than 6 at a time. By introducing clear signage you can easily inform all those on and around your premises of the new rules.
